Supported by experts.

Chartered Physiotherapists Maria Lewis and Sally Tawhai launched Reach Your Peak in 2016. Understanding that exercise is a vital part of Parkinson’s treatment, they wanted to empower people with Parkinson’s to be their own expert and allow them to exercise at a time and place that suits them. Their aim in setting up the virtual clinic was to create an online community to help people live well with Parkinson’s.

RYP enables you to exercise in your home at a time which suits you. The exercises change every fortnight so you are continuously challenged and boredom is kept at bay. Maria and Sally provide excellent support and information as well as talks by other PD professionals and online social meet ups.

Mary

"Energising, motivating, effective. RYP has helped me become fitter mentally and physically in the fight against Parkinson’s."

Stephanie

"When I was diagnosed in late 2019 I was devastated, it was a slap in the face that promised only misery, leaving Denise’s and my retirement dreams shattered. I started with RYP in February 2020, and I’m still chucking myself around for thirty minutes a day over 3 years later. I’m stronger, fitter and best of all feel mentally positive, the future is now something to engage with not dread."
